Here is what Geordan has to say about Working with him in Therapy!

My approach to therapy is based in collaboration, respect, and authenticity. I value my client’s unique perspectives, outlook, strengths, and values and center this throughout the therapeutic process. I believe strongly in following the wisdom that you already have and my goal is to guide you back to your intuition, healing potential, and personal growth. The reason why I am a therapist is because I strongly believe in the ability to grow. I found this field through my own growth journey. Growing up, I often felt like I needed to be someone else in order to be accepted and loved. I put a great deal of my life’s energy into achieving and performing, further straying from my authenticity and feeling left with a void of fulfillment. It wasn’t until I integrated who I really was, what I have gone through, and how I want to show up in life that I began to make tangible progress. I approach the therapeutic process from this perspective. I believe that therapy holds a great potential to integrate and connect the past, present, and future.
I recognize that systemic barriers, racial injustice, and discrimination are prevalent in our societies and it is my intention to explore these factors as it relates to your journey of healing, integrating, and growing. I look forward to getting to know you and embarking on this therapeutic journey together, working towards a future where you are free to embrace your authenticity and move through the world with more presence and ease.”
