Communication is key.
Communication is key.
Let’s Strengthen Your Connection
Every great relationship is built on respect and good communication. Sounds simple, right? But let’s be honest—it’s not always easy.
That’s where couples therapy comes in. Together, we can help you and your partner truly listen to each other, share your thoughts in a way that’s heard, and work through challenges as a team.
With the right tools, you can:
Clear up misunderstandings before they turn into bigger conflicts.
Avoid the stress that comes from unresolved issues.
Heal resentment and rebuild trust, so you can move forward stronger than ever.
Your relationship deserves this. Let’s work together to make it even better.
Solving Communication Issues Requires Two Major Steps
-
Understanding the Foundation of the Relationship
Working through communication issues can be very difficult work, and couples who commit to It can see major changes. However, those changes cannot begin without understanding where the relationship is starting. DIssecting the foundation in this way will help you all determine not only that you WANT to communicate better but WHY you want to communicate better and stay together.
In our approach rebuilding the foundation of a relationship requires every partner to want change and want to stay together. We will route for you all to stay together for as long as you all want to stay together.

Practice a Pattern of Effective Communication in the Therapy Room
Effective communication does not only take knowledge but takes practice!
As couples therapists, we believe that the relationships we work with need the safe and brave space to practice. Our therapy sessions can do that!
How, you ask? Well, we don’t only give the tool, we walk you through a strategy of communication in your relationship. If It works, cool! if It doesn’t, that’s okay too! We won’t know that unless there is a space to see what happens when you try to communicate.
You may be thinking: “This is great, but our identities are never considered.”
For so many of us, this is an unfortunate truth and in this practice, we strive to challenge the modalities we use and are trained in to DO BETTER.
But, as you can imagine, our systems are not perfect and they will probably never be.
As couples therapists, we need to meet YOU where YOU are and customize strategies. We do so through collaboration with you and your partner(s). This collaboration means that we as therapists need to earn your trust.
We build trust with clients by:
Setting clear boundaries and expectations for our therapeutic space
Working together to create goals for communication in your relationship
ALWAYS inviting and re-inviting every part of who you are into our therapy sessions.
Reminding you of the importance of your identities
Creating therapeutic space for you all collectively and individually as needed: This helps us get to know you as people, not just your relationship.
