March Resource Spotlight: Women’s Recovery Denver

In honor of National Women’s History Month, our hidden gem resource is Women’s Recovery Denver! This awesome resource provides compassionate addiction treatment for women all across Colorado. Founded by Holly Wilson, Women’s Recovery Denver houses a number of different services and two locations, all of which are run by their all-female staff!

Services Provided:

  • Women’s Recovery Denver utilizes the following therapeutic methods depending on the needs of any particular patient:

    • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)

    • Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

    • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

    • Trauma Resiliency Model (TRM)

    • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

    • Structural Family Theory

  • Substance Abuse Treatments

    • Resources and treatment plans can be found for the following substance abuse disorders

      • Alcohol Addiction

      • Benzo Addiction

      • Opioid Addiction

      • Sleeping Pill Addiction

      • Drugs such as Cocaine, Fentanyl, Heroin, Marijuana, Meth Addiction

      • Prescription Drug Addiction including Ativan, Painkillers, Percocet, and Vicodin

  • Rehabilitation Programs

    • Outpatient Treatment Options

      • Women’s Recovery provides traditional outpatient and intensive outpatient treatment (IOT) options, with IOT being recommended for those who have completed inpatient drug or alcohol rehab

    • Sober Living Facilities

      • Available for those who need additional assistance once they have completed an inpatient drug and alcohol rehab program at Women’s Recovery

    • Vivitrol Program

      • Available for anyone who is battling an opiate addiction or alcoholism

  • Dual Diagnosis Treatment

    • Concurrent treatment available for women dealing with substance abuse disorder and mental health issues such as ADHD, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Depression, PTSD, and more.

    • Trauma Treatment is also available concurrently
